Have you ever wonder what cardio is and how it helps your body? Well cardio is a short term for cardiovascular. Cardiovascular consists of the heart and blood vessels. It also carries nutrients and oxygen to the tissues of the body and removes carbon dioxide. In order to keep cardiovascular healthy and strong you need to exercise for 20 minutes. Before you start to do cardio make sure you warm up for at least five minutes. It doesn't matter what kind of exercise you're doing as long you're moving around, you're preventing cardiovascular diseases also called hear diseases. That's why its important to work out you're heart because if you don't it will get weaker and that's how it gets easier to get a
dangerous disease.
You can prevent getting cardiovascular diseases by just doing activities. Some cardiovascular activities you can do
outdoors are running, hiking, cycling and swimming. Many sports also helps to work out your heart, for example tennis,
soccer, basketball and volleyball. You're heart is being exercised when you're moving around your whole body at a high
speed and that makes your heart beat faster. This is good because your heart gets stronger, what makes the circulatory
system deliver more nutrients. It also helps your brain to get stronger and this makes you a better thinker. and gives
you more sleep. This not only helps your organs but also your weight. Because while you're doing this kind of activities
you're losing weight. This is why doing cardio is really important to your health.
In order to keep a healthy life you need to exercise and do different activities at least 3 days every week during 20
or 30 minutes and remember to always warm up before doing any activity. Your health doesn't only consist of working out
you also need to eat properly. I also want to keep a healthy life and that's why I'm going to try to run every Saturday morning
and play different sports during vacations.
